ALESTA ML 50-55

ALESTA ML 50-55 is a high-performance marine cylinder oil developed for the cylinder lubrication of low-speed, two-stroke crosshead marine diesel engines. Formulated with high-quality base oils and an advanced additive system, this product provides balanced acid neutralization, superior piston cleanliness, effective sludge control, and reliable wear protection. With a Base Number (BN) of 55, ALESTA ML 50-55 is recommended for engines requiring moderate alkalinity and contributes to maintaining engine cleanliness and ensuring long-term reliable operation. In addition, the product can be used in certain trunk-piston diesel engines operating on residual fuels containing up to 4.5% sulfur, where a lubricant with a medium alkalinity level is required to ensure effective acid neutralization and sludge control.

ALESTA ML 50-55 is recommended for cylinder lubrication in low-speed, two-stroke crosshead-type main propulsion diesel engines used in container ships, bulk carriers, tankers, general cargo ships, and other commercial vessels. It has been developed to meet the requirements of engine manufacturers who recommend 55 BN cylinder oil. The product can also be used in certain trunk-piston diesel engines that operate on residual fuels containing up to 4.5% sulfur and require a lubricant with a medium alkalinity level. Thanks to its effective cylinder protection and reliable lubrication performance, it contributes to long-term operational reliability in heavy-duty marine applications.
